Who Qualifies?
Any alumnus/a of a DLI sponsored program is eligible to join the Alumni Association - regardless of graduation status. This includes language programs administered at DLI Washington, the DLIEC, and training such as that performed at Ft. Liberty for Airborne troopers.

As a member of the DLI Alumni Association, your membership benefits include:

  • Automobile decal indicating "2024 DLI Alumni Association Member" (allow 2-4 weeks for delivery)

  • Advanced notification and invitation to (approx. 6) alumni socials held throughout the country (perhaps internationally one day), to include Homecoming.

  • Networking, mentorship, and camaraderie opportunities

  • Foundation assistance in planning regional gatherings

  • Bi-annual newsletter (coming soon)

  • Notification and link upon publication release of Globe magazine

For class years during or before 2019, membership is just $19.41 annually -
chosen because the defense language program was founded in 1941
if you are a recent graduate (class year 2020 or later) your membership is free

The DLI Foundation is a 501(c)3 NonProfit Organization which means your membership fee could be fully deductible, to the extent allowed by law. Please confer with your tax professional.
